MY
VETERINARY PRACTICE STORY -
Dr. Jen Redus
I graduated from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. I spent my first year in private practice in Texas. I then moved to North Carolina where I spent another 6 years in private practice. Colorado was the next and final stop in my journey. I took a break from private practice raising three children but still worked and volunteered part-time in shelter medicine at the Dumb Friends League, National Mill Dog Rescue, and the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region. Once the last of my kids was school-age, I went back to private practice as a general and emergency medicine practitioner. When COVID-19 arrived, so did the need for a change in the routine. For the past three years, I have been a relief veterinarian at multiple practices in the surrounding areas of Denver and Colorado Springs along with my mobile practice. In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family, running half and full marathons, traveling, and photography.
